Our camel-coloured oversized hoodie features the white narcissus (narċis abjad), a wildflower carrying profound personal significance as a beloved favourite of the designer's grandmother. This delicate bloom adds visual grace and represents the intimate connection between Malta's natural beauty and family heritage – how certain plants become vessels for memory. Accompanying this sentimental favourite is the resilient spiny caper (kappar tax-xewk), an indigenous plant whose striking white flowers and adaptive nature exemplify the tenacious character of Malta's native flora, alongside the Maltese wall lizard, which adds a dynamic element to the design.
Made in Portugal using 100% organic cotton. The rich camel colour of this oversized hoodie provides a warm, neutral backdrop that enhances the detailed embroidery while offering versatile wearability. There are no production lines at The Secret Rose. Every product is individually designed and put together by Sarah. Orders for sweaters and hoodies are collected on a monthly basis. The sweaters we use are made to order in an ethically-run plant in Portugal. By choosing not to carry unnecessary stock, our products are better for the environment, reduce waste and guarantee that the clothes used as the base for our work are made by people who are paid a fair wage.
