This grey marl oversized sweater features a striking embroidery design across the back that showcases three of Malta's most precious endemic species. The is the Maltese ruby tiger moth, which is unique to the Maltese archipelago. Accompanying the moth is its essential life-source, the vibrant borage (fidloqqom), with its distinctive star-shaped flowers, and the sea chamomile (bebuna tal-baħar), with delicate white flowers which have adapted perfectly to the islands' coastal conditions.
Made in Portugal using 100% organic cotton. Set against the warm vintage white fabric, the embroidery creates a bold visual statement that remains sophisticated and wearable, while the oversized silhouette offers contemporary comfort. Unisex.

There are no production lines at The Secret Rose. Every product is individually designed and put together by Sarah. Orders for sweaters and hoodies are collected on a monthly basis. The sweaters we use are made to order in an ethically-run plant in Portugal. By choosing not to carry unnecessary stock, our products are better for the environment, reduce waste and guarantee that the clothes used as the base for our work are made by people who are paid a fair wage.
